The Unitec Student Union (USU) arranged the Auckland Bus Tour for the day. It was my first time around the city. We went to places such as the top of Mt. Eden and the tunnels of North Head, which reminded me of a small version of Corregidor.
For lunch, the USU served us fish and chips at Mission Bay, finally satisfying Dan who had not yet eaten breakfast. The birds were also given a treat by the many students. (The birds were very demanding.) With time to kill, my friends and I stopped by a nearby Starbucks, where I was able to try my favorite Chai Tea Latte—it was creamier and spicier than the ones I’ve had in the Philippines! Must be the New Zealand milk.
By the time the bus got back to Unitec, the International Student Welcome Party had already begun. Free food and drinks! Always good. Got to know more about my new friends before the rain signaled the end of the barbecue.
I was exhausted when I got back to my room. It was still raining, but I fell asleep to the increasingly familiar sound of music and partying outside.
Photos of the tour may be found here:

Welcome to "The Station Between Two Worlds". Views from real and cyber space.

My friends know that I like taking photos with my dSLR, and that I like to envision movies and write stories whenever I can. Many of them don’t know how it all started though.

Gaming. Ever since I discovered how to take screenshots of those special moments in cyber space, my imagination only went wilder. And it was a good thing.

So here I am, trying to capture my experiences in two worlds, and share them so that others may experience them too.

I hope you enjoy the random things I have to share, for whatever they’re worth.
